Thanks for linking to our directory. We started developing this site to highlight various peace initiatives and give them more visibility. We will continue to build out and maintain the directory.
While we started with this domain (tech4peace.org), we also have a Stanford URL at http://peace.stanford.edu because we felt the association with Stanford was a better platform from which to work.
There is also a Facebook group anyone can join: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=25747795577.
And if you want to be in the directory, please be in touch and we'll make sure it happens.
DPC is a global coalition, dedicated to creating safe spaces to overcome division through a structured and skilled process of mutual empowerment. DPC is available in locations around the world.
Facilitators
Regularly new facilitators are trained in Dialogue for Peaceful Change. In a 5 day training the participants learn the (im)possibilities of the DPC method including a theoretical and personal reflection. Members of DPC live and work around the world. They apply DPC within their jobs, communities, schools, churches, offices, and families. DPC facilitators exchange on their experiences in a world wide learning environment. This enables DPC to include different cultural elements in the methodology in order to make it applicable in all corners of the world.
